The report release function: 'Impact of Cyclone Nisarga on mangrove and non-mangrove areas'

The report is a comparative study of the impact caused by cyclone ‘Nisarga’ along the coast of Maharashtra in mangrove and non-mangrove areas, with a special focus on the Raigad & Ratnagiri districts.

 

<p>The first scientific report by Srushti Conservation Foundation (SCF) on the ‘Impact of Cyclone Nisarga on mangrove and non-mangrove areas’ was released on July 26, 2022, by Shri Eknath Shinde, Chief Minister, and Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The Mangrove Foundation of Maharashtra has sponsored the study to understand the impact of the recent cyclones.</p>
