Program Officer (Environment Education)

Priyanka is working as Program Officer (Environment Education) for the SCF at the Palghar, Maharashtra. 

Priyanka is in the field of wildlife conservation and environmental education since seven years. She was working in Bombay Natural History Society for five years. She has been a part of education, research & conservation projects of BNHS.

  1. Implementing environmental awareness and education
  2. Liaison with key stake holders
  3. Promoting and implementing ecofriendly lifestyle, ecotourism and native tree plantation.
  4. Capacity building of local community for ecotourism
  5. Addressing Human-Wildlife conflict in rural areas of Maharashtra
  6. Identification of impacts on flora & fauna and suggesting mitigation measures for developmental projects.
