The Srushti Conservation Foundation and the Environment Protection and Development Society of Rupa, Arunachal Pradesh organized a three-day training program on Birdwatching and Basic Ornithology. The program was conducted in Rupa, West Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh from April 19th to 21st, 2023. Fifteen students between the ages of 16 to 21 years participated in the training and gained a comprehensive understanding of bird biology, behaviour, and ecology. The experienced instructors led interactive lectures, hands-on exercises, and field trips, which provided the students with a deep appreciation for these fascinating creatures.

The course presented students with the opportunity to observe and study various bird species both in the classroom and in the field. They were exposed to diverse methods used for bird study and conservation, and developed a greater understanding of the significance of protecting birds.
